Tradition of the Prophet (SAW)

There is a #tradition of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said that on the day of judgment an announcer of God will call out on His behalf, “where are the one who #loved each other because of Me, where are the one who visited each other because of Me, where are the ones who spent freely on each other because of Me, where are the ones who sat together because of Me.” That day they shall be shaded by his throne. A day when there will be no shade except his shade. He alluded to the people who visit each other, and the righteous people established these actions and spread righteousness amongst the creation. Visiting each other, spending on each other, and sitting with each other, all for God. And also #loving one other for God. This action of visiting each other was in every Shariah brought by every prophet, peace and blessing be upon them, until it came to The Chosen One, Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, and he told us that whoever visit his brother in a different town for sake of God – God sends and angel to them to him – God will #love such a person just as he #loves the one he #visits. There are many traditions that talk about this action of visiting each other and what is results in, and what the fruits of it are. And this continues until the people of paradise visit one another in paradise. Because whoever visits for the sake of God, then in the realm of eternity they shall also visit each other, and in this great blessing. And we hope by visiting this most blessed and elightened place in this country, that God awakens the reality of faith in this Muslim community. – Sayyidī Habīb ‘Umar
